Founder China Partners focuses on the acquisition of strategic interests, including the purchase of controlling stakes, in mid-sized Chinese companies. Targeted sectors include, but are not limited to, manufacturing, construction and engineering services, transportation and logistics, energy, financial services, health care, consumer products and retail.

FCP I will consider investing in both state-owned enterprises ("SOEs") as well as privately-owned companies.

Founder China Partners evaluates the suitability of a particular investment based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to: (a) stability of cash flow or potential to generate steady or increasing cash flow, (b) stable or growing demand for the company's products or services, (c) clear identification of problems and corresponding remedies, (d) the ability to create value through the execution of managerial, financial, operational, and corporate governance changes as needed, (e) whether the investment would result in sufficient diversification for the portfolio, and/or (f) the ability to stage a timely, successful exit for the particular investment.
